I don't exactly remember how I became familiar with Faucet Face, but I'm so glad that I did. The company's mission? It wants "to bring back tap water's dignity" with "a little makeover to help change people's minds."
Here's a little diagram, explaining why Faucet Face chose glass. To top that, Faucet Face points out that "bottled water companies have spent millions of dollars to try to persuade us to buy their product," serving up "ads with pristine mountainscapes, snow-fed rivers, and we drank it up." Now "Americans are addicted to bottled water," and as a nation, "we throw away 2.5 million plastic bottles every hour" which either end up in a landfill, or worse, the ocean. With that being said, Faucet Face, as I've already mentioned, wants to bring back tap water's dignity in that "people shouldn't be embarrassed to drink it."
So help them fight bottled water waste -- their reusable bottles let people know that you're drinking tap and that you don't buy into the bottled water craze! The bottles come in three different designs: {1} Hose Water to help reminisce those childhood days whilst playing in the backyard, stealing a quick sip from that very spigot. {2} The Tap is Terrific is pretty self explanatory! :P {3} Hummingbird Feeder is a reminder of how bottled water waste affects birds and other wildlife.
I own one of each, and they sit nice and cold inside my fridge for easier drinking at home. They're so easy to clean (dishwasher safe = instant win!) and creates no distaste to the water contained inside. I'm definitely thinking about getting a few more for work! So please consider these for your next eco-friendly purchase -- they're worth every penny, and plus, it's for a great cause!
